Default Airaid filter

I have a 2008 base Ls3. I installed a airaid air filter on the intake. Does this require a retune or does the Fuel injection compensate automatically?

I do not think you should have to tune it with just a air-filter change. I installed a Vararam cold air intake whole system and it did not require a tune. I would think just a filter you will be fine.

The LS3 had a very good air intake system and the addition of an aftermarket unit only slightly increases the air supply. It you scanned the MAF transfer table, I'd bet you'd be running slightly lean. A tune would correct that. If you get a P0172 or 74, which I would expect after a day or two, a tune would be necessary.

No tune is necessary with a CAI. I wouldn't consider a tune until you get headers, cam, or intake to prevent wasting money.
