Bought a pair of mufflers from a member here, were supposed to be 2010 NPP. Received muffler and while trying to install they didn't fit, after investigating the part numbers it was discovered they were 2008 NPP.
Due to the difference in years I found a used 2008 mid pipe and installed along with the mufflers. Mid pipe was rubbing / or very close rubbing in a couple place so I heated up and made a depression for clearance.
I have sense bought a set of Kooks headers and am looking for advice on which X-pipe to get. If I get the 2008 Kooks X-pipe and keep the '08 NPP mufflers will I have clearance issues? Should I sell the '08 NPP mufflers and get the '09+ X pipe?
If you're certain you have '08 NPP mufflers and over axle pipes, then you should get an '08 x-pipe to make it fit correctly. GM changed the angle of the passenger side pipe in '09. The '09 - '13 are the same, '08 is the oddball.

I am sure I have '08 mufflers and feel like the X pipe will bolt up.
I am more concerned with clearance near the transmission on an 2011 Auto. Has anyone done this set up and can confirm I wont have any clearance issues.
