Need to change crank for a 4. inch you maybe able to use same connecting rods but must get forged pistons to use with the stroker crank.

Ls2 blocks can be bore out 0.030 max.

for motor pull pistons and machine work what is a good estimate of how much i might be out of for parts and labor. i know every area is different but if you know somebody or u had it done yourself how much was it for everything?

I take engine out take it apart and buy my own parts just have a trusted machine shop do the bore out and balace reciprocating assembly pick up wash parts and put it together myself put engine in and have it tuned, I had to learn after LME put together an engine for me cost me an arm and a leg, they put in the wrong reluctor wheel engine never start.

Out of state purchase they never took any responsibility so it was time for me to roll up my sleeves, which I did (nobody better not touch my car) now nobody knows my car like me.

Tools are more affortable than trusting an a/h and depending on him.

I strongly recomend buying your car service manual and a book or two on how to hot rod the ls engine, these way you'll have all the know how and all questions answered you'll be glad you did all the best, Dave.
