Default Will I need a retune?

Fellas I'm returning from overseas and looking to eliminate a little drone/rasp. Currently running borla stinger with no cats and LG super pro headers. Will adding the LG high flow cats require a retune?

Depends on the location of the High flow cats, to how close they are to the end of the collectors on the headers.

If you keep the cats (start of the honey comb screen sections) at least 6" back from the end of the collectors, you should not need a tune, while if they are mounted right on the ends of the collectors, may cause a little bit less scavenging of the headers, with the motor now running a touch richer instead.

Understand header scavenging/the needed distance beyond the header collector of clear pipe for the collector to scavenge correctly.

Using LG cats with LG headers will place the cats far enough back not to affect any cylinder scavaging ... you will be fine

Yep, Borla redesigned their systems since the stinger model, to get rid of the drone on the new systems.

Hence the drone is coming from the stinger system on the back of the car, and putting cats in line on the X pipe is not going to solve the drone problem.

I would still put the cats on so the car is not stinking of unburnt fuel in the cabin every stop light, but would just pull the stinger system and install a Borla Atak system instead.

If your want more of a V10 type sound that the deeper pitch of the Borla system, then its the Corsa system that you want instead (it like the new Borla systems, have no real drone to speak of).
