1/2LT HUD install, the simple things you need to know.
In 2011 I travelled my off weekends completing the process about a 100 times.
Remove:
1. Knee bolster.
2. X2 13mm holding the column to dash support.
3. Cluster
4. AC duct, PVC wire pipe cutter, about $3 at depot.
Getting the hud up AND OVER the 2 studs can and will be difficult.
The wiring can be done via soldering or 3m wire taps.
Parts list:
1. Hud (any part # works)
2. Hud switch
3. Hud bezel
4. (Not GM) hud wire harness
5. X2 10mm nuts to secure hud

Current 3/4LT hud doesn't work?
Every single mounting point for the mirror has cracked.
You can try to repair, I never have.
(Fun fact) Every Z06/ZR1 3/4LT base car is equipped with hud from Bowling Green.
