Hey guys. I ordered a track box from LG with the intention of using it at the drag strip when I have my 15 inch rims on the car. Tire sensors are not an option so the car was giving me "speed limited to 55" warning. It was my understanding the track box will allow traction control off/stability control off and get rid of the warning. It does work in the sense that it allows the car to be trac control/stab control off but the warning light and "limited to 55" is still in the DIC. It's 100% wired correctly.
Am I missing a switch or something? Does it not get rid of the warnings? Anyone have this happen?
For 425 bucks I was hoping this would work flawlessly

If the box is correctly without a doubt then you need to call LG. This should have eliminated any pesky lights or warnings. It should also have your car with the active handling and traction control off at startup.

I called LG and they gave me the info of the manufacturer. The manufacturer told me that as long as the traction control is off at startup then it's working Correctly and that the warnings will stay on but won't affect the car. I'm bumming because the warnings are incredibly annoying.
I saved a ton of money by just unplugging the sensor on the steering column haha. I agree. Sucks to spend what? 400+ for it last time i checked to end up with the same crap.

What exactly did unplugging the sensor do for you? Does that allow you to turn both traction and stability control off?
My Trackbox powered up with AH/TC off (light showing that) and no other alarms.
If you put in the Trackbox jumper plug and reset the ECU (disconnect battery) are you still immediately getting the 55 alarm?
They told me it depended on year of the car. Not sure if that was BS or not. I didn't disconnect the battery but I did load a new tune in with no change. I'll try the battery next thanks for the input!

I was using it in a 2006 with E38.
You can also run into issues if there are other CAN devices in the car. When we added a data logger my dash went crazy. There was apparently a conflict with the 2 aftermarket CAN devices. I ultimately removed the Trackbox when we went to ProEFI.

Damn. I may rip this thing right out of it and find another way. I'll just deal with it for the time being. I used my hptuners scanner with no issue so far.

I'm not saying there was anything wrong with the box. I was very happy when it was in my car without the other CAN devices.
It did work fine with the EFILive box as well.
Ultimately, the ProEFI eliminated the need for it.
