So it's happened twice now about a week and a half apart from each other. I get in my car like normal put the car in neutral press the clutch in and when I hit the button I hear a clunk and I lose all power and I mean all power I can't even open the door so I have to use the lever. Both times I've had someone push me then I dump the clutch to start it and it starts perfectly fine and have 13.9 volts so the battery isn't dead... any ideas? Perhaps a lose terminal but unlikely as I've driven it through bumpy roads and it's worked just fine afterwards. I'm at work right now so I parked it and didn't get the chance to check them. Anything helps thanks guys
Forgot to add that it works perfectly fine after it does start no issues at all whatsoever
Check the easy things first: battery positive & negative connections; positive lead at starter & negative lead at chassis ground. Then have the battery load tested at any "big box" auto parts store (presuming you can get it started.) If these items are all good, c'mon back for more suggestions!
Thanks a lot to all of you guys' answer I'm prepping for a deployment coming in November and I've been extremely busy I'll get the car in the air and look underneath for a cracked start solenoid and anything that's out of place thanks again fellas I really appreciate it!
how bout voltage drop test ??...if no1 knowhow to do it with a wiring diagram on the pwr and grd circuit ...then it makes more sense finding a real mechanics to do it ...cuz its real plain and simple to nail down a bad device, connection or battery....any real meachanic should be able to nail it in an hour....u don't have enough amp when that happened .....easy!!.... do voltage drop and it should b rioght in front of u...
