I recently swapped to a stock z06 bi mode exhaust but my car does not have the equipment to make them functional, wondering if anyone has made a manual set up?
And is there any quick easy way to have the flaps closed ?

The easiest way is to buy an "NPP in a box" kit. It will set you back about $225 shipped, depending on where you buy it. This gives you the advantage of controlling the valves at will via a wireless remote. You can buy a split collar and anchor it on the exhaust rod to keep the valves closed. I have heard people say you can install the OEM solenoid to a vacuum source and it will work similar to stock, opening at some higher rpm level that allows the valves to open.
I installed a complete Z06 exhaust on a blown LS3, and just left the valves open all the time. It had a slightly "nicer" sound than stock mufflers, and nothing compelled me to want them closed.
I know that the same exhaust sound is relative to the driver. If you're installed already, then you're probably asking BC you want the option.

My car is actually extremely loud with the z06 mufflers since i have a big cam, and living at an apartment complex i need the option to quiet it on command specially on lte night trips. Dont get me wrong i love the sound its amazing but id just like to have the control.
I just ordered the NPP in a box with the ls3 tap kit, hopefully its an easy install like they claim at nakidparts.com

Put my car on ramps/jackstands. Installed per instructions in a couple of hours, taking my time. Quite a bit of time was spent deciding how/where to route and secure the rubber vacuum hoses and the wiring. Could easily have been done in an hour. It was easy.

it is easy , use the alternate hose routing down the passenger frame rail instead of trying to fish it through the trans tunnel . Hose will not be subjected to the tunnel heat and it's much easier to do
