I bought a 2010 Grand Sport suspension and wanted to know what the differences are from a standard corvette?
Are the control arms any different? I suspect that it is just sway bar rates and spring rates?
Any help would be great. Just building a project and want to see if the GS model will bolt in just like a base model.
I heard that the GS and Z06 are different animals on the upper arms. Hoping that is incorrect info.

The GS and base C6 have the same steel frame and use the same control arms and suspension connections. The C6 Z06 and ZR1 use different upper control arm connections because they both use the aluminum frame. It may just be the rear control arms that use different connectors because of the aluminum frame. E.G. when you buy a poly bushing kit for the GS you just pick the steel frame version as everything is identical. Spring rates are higher and sway bar is bigger in the GS, probably shock dampening too. Hope that helps!

C6 z06 rear upper control arm are different to the base model , the bushing bore diameter is larger in the standard c6 arm. the arm with a dog bone ( c6 z06 ) connector is slighter smaller .
I read it as, he has purchased a suspension.
for a project.
I`m building a c3 chassis with c6 suspension lots to do
, the best way to learn is to have a go, if things don't work as you may expect , do more research and have another go at it
The project is my 1958 Chevy Apache. I bought the suspension and part of the drive train from AES Auto. I have the VIN number and know it was a GS(2012 not 2010 as I mistakenly posted on post #1). Just trying to determine if the spring rates will work or if I should go with coil overs. I'll work out the bugs as I go. Not sure what the heck "mmmmm" means?? I suspect that was a call out for something illegal???
VIN is 1G1YU2DW8C5109940.
