06 ls2, mn6 car. Battery voltage will drop out of nowhere. I helped my friend change the starter like 2 months ago, due to a bad solenoid connection. We got under the car, and the terminal is there, no cracks. This pic was with the engine running. Any ideas?
Check the voltage at the alternator, the large post. This should show about 14.8 volts while running. Double check that the wires are tight on the starter also and are clean.
Most parts stores can check the alternator, just need to pull it off the car, not very hard to do.

Thanks for the response! My friend took it to the Chevy dealer. They told him "false starter connection", don't know which connector they are talking about. So I will check them all.

My tuner (Bret Bradberry) said their is a known/common issue with that wire that runs from the alternator to the starter

Reviving this thread, because we are finally gonna have time to look at it. The wire from the alternator to starter is where? Does it go on the stud of the starter solenoid? Sorry, I am a C4 guy and not C6. Hence the amateur questions.
