I FINALLY was able to put my finally finished C6 Z51 M6 to the test. Unfortunately, I was sworn to secrecy as it were because if I gave up the fact they let me do half a dozen laps for free at this awesome track very close to my house...EVERYBODY would ask the same of them. Makes perfect sence. There's simply not enuff room in this post to list EVERYTHING I've done to my car but suffice it to say I wouldn't hesitate to pit her against any newer Z06 or ZR1 or even a few Ferrari' s. She dyno s at well over 500 at the wheels w/ 476tq. Where a lot of super cars have me by maybe 40hp at the wheel
(The 2016 Z06) I'm able to best or equal their lap times due to a highly upgraded suspension pkg and top of the line 6 piston Wilwoods(F & R)The times aren't exact as I only had my best friend click the stopwatch at the start/finish line or me doing it myself in the car. I'm so proud to announce after a hefty investment I routinely turned 1:29's. Im fairly sure that after i was able to get my Proxes R888R's up to temp...my 3rd and 4th laps were 28's. When I got home and looked up lap times at this track, I couldn't have been more pleased. I very well might have left 3/4 of a second on the table but didn't want to risk damaging her by pushing to hard. The whole upgrsde ...engine, suspension and brakes was about 20k & took a year to accomplish. I'd waited 57 years for this day and it was SOOOO
