Has anyone had a larger wheel diameter on the front than the rear?
Have a set of OEM Chrome ZR1 19/20 on my Grand Sport.
I just bought brand new tires for the 19" wheels.
In the interest of traction, is it crazy to be thinking of getting a set of reproduction 18x10 or 18x12 for the rear of the car instead of the 20" wheels??
Will the traction control system go crazy or is that based on the overall height of the tires?
You need to use the front tire diameter multiplied by 1.04 to get ideal rear tire diameter. Member experiences here recently indicates you can likely get away with a "+/-" of .04 on the rear, so, front tire diameter multiplied by 1 to 1.08, but no guarantees.
