Default Seat computer

Hi ,
I have previously had a C5 but now own a 2005 C6, I cannot seem to get the buttons on the door if I adjust the seat to my request i.e As far bcak as possible and then hold for instance the no1 button until the beep beep twice to say that it has understood and accepted the command, it doesn't hold/work.

What should I do next ? ....please.

My m8 says disconnect the battery then hold the pos+neg together then re-connect and start again, doesn't sound good to me ?

I have tried reset and no diffrence, is it possibly the computer

Comments appreciated

Many thanks in advance 👍

I am having a hard time understanding what you are saying but I believe you are not using the buttons correctly. You need to set the seat to a position that you would like and then hold the button down for 2 beeps. Then when you are ready to exit you can press the center button. When you re enter the car you can then press the 1 button and only press it. Do not hold it down. Then the car will go to the previously programmed set point.

The battery unless dead cannot cause this problem. Try to clarify if this is not your problem.
