I bought an 07 Corvette with the 6.0 ls2 engine. It has a rebuilt title with 47k miles on the car. The front end has been completely rebuilt and the car drives like new. However a "service active handling system" message is populating and I have a check engine light on. I took it to Firestone and they hooked up the big code scanner
C0710 - Steering Position Signal
P0430 - Catalyst System Low efficiency (Bank 2)
P0833 - Clutch Pedal Switch 2 circuit malfunction (Tremec 6-speed) C0136 - Base brake system pressure Circuit
All these codes popped up with a ton others but these seemed to be the cause of the lights on the dash. I've heard that the telescopic steering wheel can loosen up a connection behind a Kick Panel. I'll have to check into that. Also a Corsa axle back exhaust system has been put on the car 4 years ago. I have no idea how long these codes have been on the car. The guy before me said they've been on since he bought it 2 years ago. Car drives amazing but I hate having these lights on! Please help!
I don't know about the other codes, but on my grandsons' Cadillac CTS, he had a P0430 code. I ran a bottle of "CataClean" through it, cleared the code and it hasn't come back.
