Default Requesting Header Pics Please!

Just installed some TSP long tube headers on my 05 Vette. After much anticipation I'm not quite sure how I feel about them. They hang a little lower than I expected. Just would like to see how low the rest of you guys have your headers hanging. Side shots with the car on the ground preferably just so I know what to compare them too. Not sure if you sell them and save a little more for LGs or Kooks. Any info/ pics are greatly appreciated!

Wow! Wish mine was that clean.. guess I'm gonna have to take them off and try to sell them. Should've saved a little more and spent my money on something a little higher up the food chain..

The TSP headers do hang a little low, but I’ve had no issues on the street even with my car lowered as far as the stock bolts will go. Just have to ease the car over speed bumps in parking lots.

You don't happen to have any side shots with the car on the ground? Would like to compare how low yours hang to mine. My car is also lowered on stock bolts.

Could you tell me what kind of heat shield material you used on the bottom side of tunnel and maybe a link to where you got it. I'm getting ready to install ARH headers on mine
Also have you had any problems getting the foil tape to hold in the heat.
I'm a home builder and we use that tape all the time but not sure how it would hold up to extreme heat.

Yup, I have about 3/4 to 1 inch of header below the floorpan. Was rather disappointed this wasn't mentioned before installation. Oh well. Just gotta angle and creep over those speed bumps. 😁

That sucks. Im thinking of taking them off this weekend and putting the stock system back on and selling the TSPs for what I can get. Gonna save up to get something higher up on the food chain hopefully better fitting.

Wiped down area W/ gasoline, then scrubbed down with DAWN dish soap. Blew dry and added time to dry totally on it's own.

Many products on the market, but I used a product called (Boom Mat). From internet says for both noise and heat. Very sticky and has stayed in place 1 1/2 years no sign of wear or looseness.

Coated pipes and mat has made a great difference to inside car heat. The foil tape is holding it's own and doing well. I did burnish the foil tape down very good. I would do the whole thing again if called on, .......no regrets

My TSP headers hang low as well I've had them on for 2 years. I've dented them a few times but not worried about it. My car is low as hell so I'm use to scraping everything.

i have the dynatech headers, one of my primaries hangs low and scrapes going over speed bumps... i have never touched the bolts, but i think the previous owner did.

those asking about heat shielding, i came across this one day. thinking of trying it

Not trying to ask too much but could you take some side shots of the car sitting in the driveway or parking lot please? I would like to see exactly how low to the ground they are so I have something to compare mine too?

I got stainless works 2 inch on mine and they fit great. Only thing I had to do was reroute the transmission cooler lines with the kit they give you. Other than that they went right in.
