Default Wheel bearings

My 2006 Base coupe threw a Service active traction light as well as ABS light. Right rear wheel started making a grinding sound. I replace rotor and pads. Rotor had signs of severe wear, but pads were fine. As I replaced wheel I noticed movement in wheel after tightening bolts. Noise is still there. I am not driving car until I can get this fixed. Is this the sign of a bad bearing? Any idea on cost of replacing (not at stealership)?

If the wheel has movement in any direction other than rotating, it's a bad bearing. Bearing cost ranges from around $120 to $200 for normal replacements. Labor is about an hour for a decent shop on a lift or 2-3 hours on jackstands for the first time in the comfort of your garage.
Search youtube for C6 wheel bearing videos. While not perfect, they give you the basics.
