Car electrics seem dead, no start no dash

Car electrics seem dead, no start no dash
I have a 2005 C6 base and after removing starter for a HB replace, i now dont have any power to the dash/start button or anything.
The key fobs dont do anything.
there is plenty of power at the battery, same at starter solenoid,
all fuses are good, new batteries in both fobs, when i press start button even though its not lit i get a clicking/ratchet sound from behind the upper centre of dash.
any pointers for me to check please?

A section in he BCM had worked its way loose, tighened it back up and all good.
