Repeat customer Shane Chiddix is a repeat customer of ours and always wants to be on top of the horsepower food chain. In the past we have built him a 427ci LSx for a Whipple supercharger for his vehicle.
That was last year, now he has decided he wanted a naturally aspirated 427ci LSx, and called us up and gave us a challenge. "Chad, i want 800hp" We did exactly that for him. Started off with a GM Performance LSx block, bored and honed to 4.125" for a set of Custom High Compression Wiseco Pistons. We went with the Dragon Slayer Crankshaft and Ultra Connecting Rods from Callies. These are staples of any high horsepower Golen Engine build. Next up was a solid roller camshaft from Comp Cams where Morel lifters and Comp .135" wall 3/8 pushrods handled the transfer to the Jesel Shaft Mounted rocker system. Manley handled the custom titanium valves and spring package. Mast 315 Heads and a single plain intake where utilized to produce the necessary flow to make the staggering 824HP.
