Default Pfadt SA Featherlight Shocks-Spring Change

I'm wanting to change the springs on the rear shocks. In looking at them closely, it seems as though I'll need special tool to remove a ring at the bottom of the shock to remove the lower bracket to expose the shaft.... Can anyone chime in on this with a confirmation or suggestion on another method? Any help is appreciated.

Did you ever figure out how to make the change or get the tool?

Yes, fortunately I was able to acquire the spanner tool with pins from AFE through much begging on my part. I think I wore them down so they sent one to me;-) They typically want you to send the shocks to them for servicing...

Are you having a similar issue?

My Pfadts broke before I needed to do any work on them, but my bet is that the adjustment tool is like LGs I have . I bought these for $5.00
