Default Shifter help 07 Auto trans

Have advanced searched, and looked at related tech tips.
Shifter comes out of park, goes thru reverse neutral drive and sport with no action, I think it is still in park. I know these are cheap plastic assemblies and am looking for it on GMparts direct but no results on Shift
Assembly, Mechanism, Shifter, etc.
What do they call the dam thing?

Thanks,

well, that went ok.
got to the car, removed console, removed shifter. Shifter not connected to the shift control cable.
Started the car, shifted into drive via the shift control cable and got the car home
