I have been having a No Crank, No Start issue for the last month. The only code I have is a U0100 Lost Comm With ECM PCM A.
The only thing that I did and it was about the same time since I have been having this problem was installing a new Pioneer avic-8200 radio with backup camera. I connected the radio with the factory wiring harness which uses the rdo 15 amp fuse in the BCM. The radio and backup camera worked fine.
Yesterday I got the bright idea to remove this fuse to see if the radio install in effect has caused my problem and wallah, The car has been starting flawlessly and the code has disappeared.
I figured I would throw this out on the forum for knowledge and review.
Now I need to figure out how a aftermarket radio install caused these issues.
Is it a 2005 or 2006 and up? Also, do you have a message saying something about "column steering lock"? If not then check your starter solenoid I've heard of it causing an issue like that.

I apologize for not replying back. My car is a 2008. No messages about column steering lock. I took it to a shop I trust last Thursday (10-26-17). They did question my radio install but I have not heard anything else since then. I do know they are extremely busy and so am I at this time of year.
Again apologies for not replying back.
