Default 6l80e in 2005 corvette?

Hey guys, has anybody put a 6l80e transmission into a 2005 C6 T56 car? I’m installing a UPP twin turbo kit on my car and would really like to have an auto. A guy is selling most of the stuff to do the swap but I’m not sure if the electrical/ecm is comparable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That’s kinda what I figured but couldn’t really find any info on it. I thought about getting a new ecu and wiring harness but that seemed a little extreme. Thanks for the help.

Swapping to a newer model is easier and most likely less expensive. Go to an '08 or '09, which gives a lot more than just some extra cubic inches.

I would but I got my car for pretty cheap and it is currently torn apart with the motor, trans/rearend and fuel system removed for the turbo install.
