Default Open up a BCM

Does anyone know if you can split open a c6 BCM, I started but stopped as it was tight and didn't want to screw it up till I get what I need to install another one.

Yes, you can split a BCM to get to the board.

Is is going to do you any good, maybe and just depends what went out on the board. Most of the stuff is easy to resolve, but if a major proprietary chips went south, no way to get another one that has been flashed instead.

Hence if the board is having intermittent problems, walk in the part solving that problem.
Programmed chip gone South instead, time for a new BCM.
And just a FYI, most of the module boards have proprietary program chips in them as well.

BCM is working fine but lower half I am sure was under water for a bit. After I gave up trying to open it to clean it I just poured electrical cleaning fluid in it as best as I could. Still works fine, I will replace and then try again to open it up. Thanks for the info.
