Default X pipe

I have a stock ‘11 Grand Sport. All stock, no headers. Can you bolt in an aftermarket x pipe? If so, any benefits from the installation?

I have a 11 Grand Sport and mine have an X-pipe with only one set of cats. I know some later years of the C6 had 2 sets of cats which you don't have to worry about. That being said IMO no it would not be worth it. Now in saying that if you want to go with a Z06 setup from manifold to the tips that would be more worth it to me. Are you an auto or manual?

You have an x pipe from the factory. All you'd be doing is wasting money.

You will need to go the headers/X pipe route to see good gains, don't waste your money on a X pipe only

Thanks everyone for your input. I definitely see it is a waste of money. I would like to keep the car stock anyway.

If you want more power and keep the stockish set up see my post above. Some one can chime in on about how much power you can pick up going that route if your an M6. It's harder to fit it in an auto due to the over axle pipe but can be made to work.
