Diablosport predator read issue
Happy Sunday all,
I bought my 05 base used from a dealer. I was unfamiliar at the time with performance and economy chips for engine or otherwise. There was a Diablosport Predator reader in the rear compartment, and I was told there was a chip in the car. The car has been fine without any problems regarding the engine, tyranny, etc. So I haven't worried about it. I am going to bring the the car to
the shop for exhaust system replacement.
I read that it would be better to have the engine set
to original factory setting. Read the manual, and plugged the unit into the port, went through he steps, found the
"Restore to original backup," it read through the install,
and then said to unplug device...done.
However, when I started the engine, I got a "Service Fuel System," and "Low Fuel," with the gauge reading empty. Everything else seemed to be Op normally, and engine idling normally. Any ideas???

Not sure why changing your exhaust you would need to pull the tune out. I have a Diablosport tune with no issues when I did my shorty headers. Perhaps non related but try installing the tune again to see if it fixes the problem.

I am learning as much as I can about these tuners. It read, "Diablo tune." Not even sure what the tune was....but assuming it was fuel efficiency related, because of the fuel system code, and gas gauge reading empty. There is a 1/2 tank of fuel in there, so this stuff is pretty weird for me. Any help on what I need to choose for the replacement of the tune?

Thanks for the reply. Ya, the detune is most likely a rookie mistake. I'm new to all the code issues. I am bad with electronics. I have had a few C3's, and most of my daily drivers through the years were older rides.
