Default Front Spring Bolt Stuck

Thoughts on how I can get this the rest of the way out? The rear spring bolts were much easier to swap out but this front bolt won't budge any further. I have about an inch gap gap underneath but just can't seem to get a good enough grip on it.

back it in a little and cut it off and take it out the other way. or screw it all the way back and cut that off.

Just did this. I had to use a vice for the last few turns. After doing all four I wish I would of just lowered the factory fronts and cut the bushings off the factory rears...

Run it back in, soak it with penatrator oil, use a wire brush on the upper threads. A pick works works on the heavy rust. It will come out.

Thanks guys. Finally got it out, after oiling and working it loose. The car is officially slammed on all 4 corners with the new bolts. The stock bolts were in pretty rough shape. The car feels noticeably stiffer now which I wasn't expecting but not dissapointed.

What bolts did you end up going with? I went with VMS

Let us know how long the new bolts last. I never had very good luck with any of lowering bolts, so I out coilovers on the car.

I went with the cheapies from Southern Car Parts. I've also heard that none will last anyway.

you have more room if you disconnect the inner side of the control arm. If you insider a thin piece of hard plastic or aluminum, the ends hold up better. It's the side-to-side motion that destroys them.
