Getting around to changing the brakes for the first time since I bought the car. Rotors are a bit worn too.
Anyone have suggestion for daily driver z06 that sees interstate and traffic?
Also, what is the deal with padlets or one piece? What does the OEM have? I couldnt clearly see what was on the car but looked like one piece.

OEM pads are three piece padlets. For rotors on the street OEM works fine at around $90 a piece. For replacement pads go with Carbotech 1521 or Powerstop Z26. Both are great low dust pads that work perfectly fine on the street. Go with a full pad

If you want a quality aftermarket pad I recommend the Carbotech 1521 pad in the 1 piece design. A low dust pad that is rotor friendly and performs like OEM and last longer. 100% non-corrosive dust will not harm your paint or wheels. This pad also contains NRS technology. Carbotech uses NRS technology on all C4, C5, C6 & C7 front and rear brake pads.


1 piece pad gives you better pedal feel more pad surface and even wear rate.
