Default Cold Weather Tires

I'm looking at a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ as the Pilot Sport Plus's I have are bad under 40 degrees until they get warmed up. Sales guy was trying to talk me into Nitto Invo's, but I'm afraid they will be the same.

Comments?

I have the AS 3+ on my Caddy ATS (2.0T RWD with tune & downpipe) and they are a good tire. Ride, noise, and handling are solid for an all season. As long as you don't expect that on a 30* day, the car with an all season is going to grip like the PSS on a 70* day, you'll be pleased with the AS 3+.

I had nitto invos on my vette. I would buy the AS 3+ rather than the Invos.

I'm running the Pirelli sottozero's and love them. I had a them on my c5 too. They're not just great in cold but the snow here by Chicago too

Thanks to all for replies. I actually talked to Nitto and they do not recommend running INVO's under 40 degrees also. So I put the AS 3+ on and wow, definitely like the grip and overall handling so far. Was 31 degrees in Houston this morning and no slip&slide like the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
