Problems after vacuum pump install.
I have a 2006 auto converted c6z. ERL 447 with 13.8 cr and solid roller cam. Noticed a drip of oil on the floor every once in awhile after I drove it so my mechanic recommended more ventilation. I decided to go with the vacuum pump and pick up a couple hp while I was at it.
Fast forward I get the car back from the shop I had install and tune it and the car is just unbearable to drive. He has the idle turned up so high, now the car surges like crazy, and if I'm at a stop light for too long the car will idle down and die on me if I don't give it gas.
The guy that owns the shop said that is just the way it's going to be now but im not buying that one bit. Can anyone that has knowledge with a vaccum pump chime in?
