Let me give you some advice ... When you start a thread here, make the subject of the thread basically the same as what you are wanting to talk about .... Giving the subject of your thread just your first name (as in this thread) tells us absolutly nothing.

Another point ... All your post says is: "I need to replace camshaft position sensor on my 2008 corvette convertible c6".

Ok ... but that tells us [nothing] except your going to be busy for awhile.

In other words, we have no earthly idea what your talking about, other than you are going to replace your camshaft postion sensor.

If you wanted some info or direction on replacing the CPS, then that's what you should of asked for. There are plenty of members on here that have that info.

Just a FYI, but when the cam position sensor goes out, it's normally the cam sprocket bolts that became loose, and what took it out instead.






When you remove the sensor off the cover, look at the end of it, and if it has wear marks to the end of it, then you need to pull the timing chain cover to get to the cam sprocket bolts.
