Most of them probably have performance stalls, and depending on the stall speed, application etc are probably foot braking it up onto the stall, or just stabbing it and letting the stall flash. Never seen a 2 step on an auto, as stall converter controls the launch, not RPM limiter.
Another option could be launching off a transbrake, but that is probably rare.
I had a circle d 5c but my rpm trans lasted literally 3 passes and then I dropped a valve so I never got to find what was optimal for mine. Most guys I've seen stall it up pretty high with the footbrake.

Where are you launching your Z06? Are you riding off idle or using some sort of box for a "two step" type launch?
As per the below video, I footbrake it up pretty high. With my set-up, it typically rewards me with a 60 ft in the 1.27-1.30 area...versus only 1.31-1.34 if I footbrake under 3000 rpm. The car just reacts better on the initial hit if I do this.
I have close to 1000 passes doing this, with around 800 on this converter and all 1000 on this same transmission.
Results may vary though....your set-up might react differently.
I've seen videos of your car, you've got a bad bitch!

I have a 15" and going to try the 275/60 Radial PRO and see what she does!
If that tire is what I think it is.... it's a 28" tire.
I think if you're naturally aspirated, it'll probably slow you down. I'd go with a shorter tire.... big difference. Plus it's a lighter tire, which also matters.

It's a NA car for now, makes 595 uncorrected thru the auto, have 3.73s in it. Will give it a try and see how she responds
What are you guys paying for your auto swaps? Are they still pretty pricey?
I purchased mine 4 years ago, hence, my costs are outdated.
I do recommend you contact RPM transmissions for your quote based upon your application. They had one in my inbox in less than an hour after the request.
Take note, you can sell your existing set-up to significantly soften the blow of the costs.
I'll add, I only recommend this swap if you're a competitive drag racer or at least that is the primary application of the vehicle such as mine is. Was a great move for me.... not so much for everybody though.

Not true, I've been using a 2-step with my LS7/A6 setup for years.
