2: Set the seats and mirrors and steering wheel to the desired locations.
3: Press and hold the "1" or "2" until it beeps.
4: Do burn out.
5: Done.
If you use #1 fob to drive the car, then set the memory 1 to your desired positions. If you use #2 fob for the car, then set memory 2 to your desired position.
Hence the car sees the fob your using when you go to start the car, and will be that memory position number that is going to return to.
If you don't use fob #2, then use memory 2 to set the seat/steering and such for more relaxed position. This way, if you do find yourself on longer driving miss daisy highway ventures, you can just hit memory 2 on the door, and it will readjust everything to the lazier position that you have memory 2 set up for.
Note, when you turn the off, get back in the car with fob 1, it's going to readjust the setting 1 again.
If the wife is the person using the fob 2 since she has memory 2 set up for here needs, don't **** here off by changing here #2 memory settings for your own cruse needs using fob 1 instead!!!!! Hence she will not find it funny when she goes to start the car using fob 2, and end up with the seat moving so far back she can not touch the steering wheel, nor reach the pedals.
Also, learn the roll method to get in and out of the car, and leave the auto exit in the DIC off.
Hence the auto exit can be set up to move the seat back and steering wheel forward out of the way to get in and out of the car with more ease, but the more they are moving each time you get in and out of the car, the faster your going to wear the motors out instead.
If you are rotund/old and need such to get in and out, then go for it, but in general, you learn to get in and out of the car quickly with the seat and steering wheel staying in there set position pretty quickly anyways.
