How much powder to you want to make, and do you car to be street driveable in traffic with wicked low rpm surging or not.

Hence if want high HP and being able to drive the car "low RPM" in traffic, then a super charger is the way to go..

Question too general. What are you looking for out of the car? 100% street car or will you track it? How much do you care about drivability? There is no "best" solution, only one that best fits your goals.

I'd like to be in the mid 500s. And it's my daily, not wanting to do forced induction.

6 speed manual, there are plenty of E85 pumps near me, and daily driver. My budget shouldn't be an issue.

Well it's my daily, but I do go to the drag strip every month or so.

Mid 500's ain't happnin' on a naturally aspirated LS3. Maybe mid 500's is doable if measured in engine HP. Won't be worth a damn as a daily driver though.....unless you're a glutten for punishment.

Easily done with a supercharger though. And you can keep perfect manners.

Big block engine. Sleeved LS3 with exchange.

Someone makes these things like 468 ci or something for about $5.5K in TX. He's on ebay and someone around here replaced an LS7 engine with one and it's been solid.

Daily driver friendly? Sure, with enough money and disregard for good manners, I'm sure it can be done. Simply add a blower and long tubes (they might now even be necessary) to a stock LS3 and you're there...along with perfect manners, near stock like fuel eco, and excellent reliability. Perfect for a daily driver.

Op clearly said he don't want a blower, what's onrilieable about simple only need to change a few parts no-thing to add no extra weight or an intercooler to block the radiator and how about with factory intake and throttle body oh more torq than horse power how about over 500 wtq @ 3500 rpm

So what is everyone meaning about good manners? And I don't want to do forced induction, keeping it NA for now.

To get anywhere near 550rwhp, you're going to need upgraded heads and a rather large cam. Especially if you're trying to do this on a stock cubed LS3. With you mentioning that you already had a newish LS3, I assumed that is what you had to work with. Some folks are OK with the buck, shake, and surge you will get with any cam near big enough to approach the numbers you're after. I've already had my last cam that induced crappy manners.

The last build decision I made was:

Do I want crappy manners and crappy fuel eco to get high 400's to low 500's for power? Like you, I was starting with a stock LS3.

Or, do I want perfect manners and good fuel eco to end up with well over 650rwhp? It took a Heartbeat TVS blower, very mild cam, and long tube headers to get there. Easy decision for me.

I understand if you don't want to fool with a blower. Just understand the tradeoffs.

Cold air intake headers cam and trick Flow 255 heads is all that's needed.

The engine is an air pump sure you can use an exterior air pump but man "simple and light is so nice" I even use my engine as it's own vacuum pump for engine evac.

An LS3 making 500 plus whp has great vac as it doesn't discard idle air (no blow out valve) so we manage that air to our advantage.

Had a contest against a 2014 Viper removed cats and tuned, he showed me the dyno sheet 588 whp 557 tq so I thought my heads and cam ls3 have a real chance, luckily he was filming and gracefully passed me the video so here it is...

A heads and cam LS3 is not even suppose to be included in the same sentence with a 5th generation Viper 10 cylinders 513 Ci 8.4 liters dual throttle body BUT the ls3 is a good air pump.
