Code reading

Is anybody aware of a code reader that will read all of the fault codes in a C6? There are no dealers within 100 miles of me but I have an airbag problem that neither of my generic ODB readers can see. Is there a handheld or software recommended?

You need a GM Tech 2 or equivalent to read airbag codes. There are clones out there and some companies sell airbag specific tools. To my knowledge, there are no generic code readers that can read or clear SRS codes.

GM tech 2 I'll be looking for, or a 3 hour drive every time I need to check. Something I didn't consider when choosing the vette over the mustang.

I have a tech2 but I carry one of these in the trunk Bosch OBD 1110 reads most things
