C6 exhaust question
I have a 2007 c6 base m6 car. I am looking into buying arh zo6 headers and catted x pipe and a zo6 exhaust. I want to go b&b fusion but i dont see a zo6 kit for cars not equipped with npp. Will this bolt up to my car without modification? And is there performance to be gained from going this route instead of arh ls2 headers x pipe and 2 1/2 exhaust. I do plan to s/c with an ecs sometime this year. Wanting to keep around 600 to 650 hp at the wheels since I will he on stock bottom end. I know i have to use zo6 gaskets with the headers from my research but i have read conflicting takes on this. Thank you for any help in this matter.

Headers to fit your LS2 along with Z06 mid pipes will bolt to the Z06 mufflers. I'm doing the same thing to my new (to me) 2013 coupe.
If you're using mufflers for a Z06 (whether stock or aftermarket), you need Z06 mids for it to bolt together. Not a big deal if you don't use Z mids. Any competent muffler shop can make them fit with little trouble and expense.,

NPP with the smaller pipes vs Z06 with bigger pipes. I doubt you'd see a noticeable difference unless you were after every last HP on an all out rig. I'm not convinced you'd even notice it then. Either one is an excellent way to go.
