Anyone have the GM part number for the lube used to help eliminate the popping sounds on the tops.
Is the lube the same for the pins and the weatherstrip?

You don't need the GM lube for the top. What I used was Aerospace 303 rubber seal protectant, o'rings for the two front pins, re-torque the pins to 16ft lbs and dieletric grease for the pins and contact areas and no more popping. I also have the updated latches on mine.
Mine was creaking bad, went with the o rings, small E clips on the latch rollers, dielectric grease, tightening the pins and used a bit of blue lock tight. And some weatherstrip treatment called gummi phlege. No more noise!!!
