Hey guys. Ill be ordering my alky control kit soon, and plan on doing a plate kit very soon afterwards. My question is, what's the best way for nozzle and sensor placement. I'm probably going to run a 100 shot on my hci n/a build and run meth 24/7 for detonation and cooling management for this Arizona heat.
After searching it seems like a hot topic about iat sensor vs meth placement and to me it seems like it would make sense to atomize your meth spray far enough away from the iat sensor but still spray before the iat. What about nitrous? Would it make most sense for the placement of these items starting from the intake to go meth -> iat -> nitrous OR meth -> nitrous -> iat
Also, besides the iat being relocated, is there any other consideration to their relative position to the MAF to consider?
The IAT is located in the MAF. You will need an IAT breakout harness and IIRC an LS3 IAT sensor. I would plumb it into the intake manifold and do MAF -> meth -> nitrous plate
Before ordering from Alky, you may want to speak with Rodney at Pro Meth.
I recently did a bunch of research on meth systems and Pro Meth has the most cutting edge tech. Besides that, Rodney is also a former Marine and noting short of a true gentleman
