Title says it all, only have cold air coming out of the passenger side, warm air on my side.. I'm thinking it's the blend door to my side is maybe sticking and not allowing the AC to exit my vents? I installed a new GPS antenna last fall and needed to remove the radio to get to the plug..Do you think I may have somehow blocked the control for the vent or maybe unplugged something by accident? I'm not sure how this AC system works....It was working fine last summer.. Thanks for any help....WW

You have a Tech 2 if I remember correctly? Interrogate the HVAC system looking for codes. You can also cycle blend doors from there as well. That's probably where I would start.

Yes, I do have a Tech 2 , also the Factory Service Manuals.. l didn't realize there were so many sensors in the HVAC system to check. There are 2 sensors each for the defroster, vents and footwell air, plus 7 or 8 more to run other things.. The FSM tells how to test for each sensor so hopefully I can figure this out......WW
Usually a bad/failed blend door actuator will spit a code of some sort. As always, the code isn't a silver bullet, further troubleshooting is necessary to confirm an actual bad part but it points you in a direction to start looking. If you left something unplugged as you may have thought, it'll probably have a code related to that.
Over the years I've replaced a fair amount of those actuators in GM and other makes, so they do fail. Other times, the blend door itself may be bad (some Fords were good for that), but because the actuator can't travel thru its full range of motion a code will pop.
At least with a Tech2 or similar scan tool, you have the capability to narrow it down and cycle the individual actuators to check operation. If you find any codes, list them.
Had the same problem and did all the trouble shooting IAW maintenance manual. Fixed the problem by checking Freon level. It was low, serviced with freon (dye) and found leak. Fixed leak and now blows cold air.

Well I spent a few hours this morning with the Tech 2 hooked up only to discover that everything checked out fine.. Then I read your post , went outside and checked my freon level and found out it was right at the level between low and good.. I only had about a 1/2 of a small can of freon so I hooked it up and put it in, it brought the lever about 1/4 of the way into the good zone... Wow, I can't believe it , now it's at least blowing air colder then the outside air and about 70% as cold as what the other side it putting out.. After dinner I'm going to Advance Auto and pick up another can of freon to get the level near the top of the good zone... I have to admit , when I read your post I was skeptical that it would make a difference , but seeing is believing.....Thanks..WW
Update.....Well I found another can of freon in my other car , put it in to get the level closer to the top of the good zone and now both sides are blowing ice cold... Thanks again for the help...WW
