Johnson 2110 SLR are drop-in LS lifters. Little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Search around the forum here and on CTSVowners and you find nothing but good things about Johnson.

Good advice. I just swapped the lifters on my car to Johnson 2110s, because the wheels on the stock lifters were showing signs of brinnelling (probably from the harder 8620 cam core). Just looking at them, you can see that the Johnsons are a superior product. They’re quieter too, and you can use the same length pushrods (7.4”). They cost twice as much, but I wouldn’t recommend anything else.

I use the Lunati bar-link rollers. It eliminates the plastic buckets, that if they ever fail, the lifter can turn and wipe out the cam.
