I am new on this forum but already have a question for you. I have a 2011 and yesterday the Service Traction, ABS and one other service popped up on my display. What could be causing this? Is this something I can fix myself? I saw on another internet post that they checked the fuse box, pulled and replaced the fuses and the notifications went away. That being said, did that truly fix a problem or just hide it until the next time. Your advise is greatly appreciated. Also, if you suggest a repair, can you also tell me what the approximate cost might be. I know it is different for different areas of the country but I am sure there is a good estimate/average out there somewhere. Thanks in advance for your help.
Pull the codes if you have a scanner...otherwise, I think you can borrow one from a few different auto parts stores. Hard to determine anything without checking for codes, but...
IMO, if this pops up without any driveability symptoms, its "usually" voltage related. First, check all ground and power cables to ensure they are clean and tight.
Second, load test battery and replace if weak or old. If battery is healthy, check the alternator output next.
