Btr cam bad lifter?
Hello! My car started making loud ticking/knocking sound under hood. I drained my oil and found very small metal flakes, took valve covers off checked rockers and passengers side were ok but drivers side one was loose with too much up and down play. I pulled pushrod and checked to make sure it’s not bent or anything and it seems fine. Currently has BTR stage 4 cam with dual springs titanium retainers and shop installed 7.400 .080 pushrods. Car did loose oil psi it would sit right at 40psi at idle and dropped to 28-31 but would climb pass 50psi at around 4000rpm. It also sounded rough/deep sound to it. Do u guys think that my cam might need to be replaced? I’ll be pulling heads off to replaced lifters but is there a chance that cam might be bad or demaged a lobe? Cam has about 2-3k miles on it since new.
