Default Connecting Rods

I have a C6 GS that I'm currently rebuilding my engine and I'm going back with forged rods and pistons. I pulled my engine specs for my engine on summit and it states that I have 6.098 connecting rods.
When I do a search on the site it comes up with two different sizes 6.098 and the more plentiful selection is 6.125. My question is if I choose the 6.125 will this hurt me on valve clearance?

Won’t affect valve clearance at all. You’ll have to go with a piston with the proper compression height to accommodate the longer rods. Valve clearance as you stated, or PTV (piston to valve) is affected by camshaft specs and head gasket thickness. This dimension should always be checked when doing a rebuild. Consult your engine builder for more info.
