Sounds like the well-known master cylinder problem. GM issued a TSB for this and will replace the part with a NEW upgraded part number at no charge for 10 years after production of the vehicle. My 2012 Grandsport is at the Chevy dealer as we speak getting the same issue fixed. I don't know the number for the TSB, my service advisor looked it up and called me back to tell me it was covered.
