PSA: 7/19/2018, check your PCV TUBES, most likely cracked/rotted after 8 years, PICS.
PCV tubes
1. “U” from valley cover to intake manifold.

2. Tube from valve cover to rubber coupler between MAF and TB
(it’s actually the rubber elbow that rots on this one)
$20
the U tube if cracked or broken will cause erratic idle and major drive ability issues. It’s an oddball 7/32” formed tube that
is only a few bucks new.
I ripped mine in 2 when swapping the great LSx oil sensor on my 07 after 140k miles.
Hope this helps, being how cheap these parts are, it just makes sense to replace.

thanks Steve, I was checking engine over tonight looking for leaks or anything out of place. I found the PCV tube from the valve cover to the MAF disconnected. I replaced the air intake a while back and must have pulled it loose then. And thanks for the heads up on the other tube as well.
