Default Clutch Master or??

I posted this in another area but didn't get much response.
Last week went to the strip. First run, I didn't do a brake-stand just a light burnout. Car ran decent.
Send run about 40 minutes later after sitting with engine off most of the time. Did small burnout and staged ( in the other lane ). Launched and it felt like I was on water. Nobody could tell me if my wheels were spinning or if the clutch was slipping. Let off the gas and when it finally stopped spinning I tried to shift, but the pedal stayed on the floor.
A couple people said I overheated my clutch. I donor understand how I did this with only one pass. Im not disagreeing, I just don't understand.
Ive also read that it could be my clutch master.
I have a C6Z with a stage 2 cam. I plan on upgrading for more power so Im wondering if I should install a tick? I just read that the RST doesn't work with the tick.
Im confused

You can spell a slipping clutch. It has a very distinctive smell. I had a my pedal stick to the floor and the new GM master is supposed to fix it, but I went with w Tick Master and a Centerforce Dyad clutch.

If clutch pedal has stayed on the floor, most probably a failed clutch master cylinder. GM issued an extended warranty for this problem in 2015. Clutch master cylinder will be replace at no cost within 10 years of purchase date or 120,000 miles. Your profile has no info on year of your C6, but if it fits this timeline, check with a dealer for this program.
