A few weeks ago my fob wouldn't start the car so had to put it in the glove box slot. Changed both batteries and tried to reprogram several time using the 3X 10mn procedure. I can get all functions on FOB to work but it won't start car. No cell phones near me during process.
took to dealer today and there telling me I need a transmitter and 2 new FOBS at $900. I can't see how everything would go wrong especially with both fobs.
Where is the transmitter located on my 2005 convertible and how hard is it to get at?
any suggestions?
