Default LG adjustable sway bar end links

Anyone have these installed? Ordered a set for a 2013 GS but can't get them to align. I have left the sway bar in the same position as it was in when removing the stock end links. With the adjustment as far in as it will go, I still can't get the bottom bolt to slide through. It looks like the only way to get these on is to change the position of the sway bar. My only worry there is chafing against the harness going into the brakes. I have not tried the fronts but believe I'll run into the same problem. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.
