Default service ride control

2005 211000 miles had new clutch installed at around 185000 miles came back with the service "ride control message".I took it back to shop and they thought they broke a sensor on the left rear shock. They replaced the shock on there own dime but i still have the same message.MY question is does this message just indicate a bad sensor or can it also indicate bad shocks?

You need to check the code, since there are several that prompt the message. Then chase down the poor or broken connection that could also be a sensor that's incorrectly adjusted.
