Default Exhaust Question

I have recently purchase a 08' C6 w/ the 3LT-Z51package. Looking for a good exhaust from cat back (damn California smog), but I understand certain exhaust systems can have a "droning " noise at cruising....Any suggestion on a good exhaust?

The OEM NPP is a solid and affordable alternative and they go for sale in the forums often. If you can swing it snag an entire Z06/ZR1 NPP exhaust from the motor back and it will be a solid upgrade over stock while still complying with cali emissions. I personally enjoy my Hooker Blackheart but it's an axle back and you would have to buy an x pipe. Also the Z model NPP exhaust have fitment issues with automatics cars but they are still doable.

I chose to go full Z06 exhaust. With mild to wild for the best of both worlds.
You can come by anytime and listen I’m around the corner from ya.
But here’s a clip
