C6 convertible top won’t close

C6 convertible top won’t close
Several times over the last few months the top would not go back down but I would wait an hour or so and try again and it would close. Now it has been 3 days and still won’t close. I can hear it unlock and it raises slightly but that’s it, then it won’t close back down so I can drive it. The only message is “top unsecure.” Anyone know what might be wrong?

First, check the hydraulic fluid in the rear passengers wheel well area. you'll need to remove carpet and trim to get to it. There's a reservoir for the fluid. Use only the right stuff if low. And obviously, if low, you've got a leak.
Sometimes it's a limit switch but yours doesn't sound like that. Open it up and see what you can figure out before throwing money at it.
There's videos on Youtube that are very helpful with both finding issues and knowing what it costs to fix. Some, like a unit rebuild are not cheap.
